I also use it for casual video conversations where I would have otherwise needed a power bank and stand - and it's amazing for this.įor the price, you really can't go wrong, especially if you're invested in other (read, Moment) small lens systems. The charging just works, and the fact that it's USB-C PD all around is fantastic. I actually feel the difference in mindset when out shooting with this - it's just so much more "intentional" having this in-hand than without. I say BUY one and you won’t be disappointed.Ībsolutely love my new Shifcam (with hand strap)! It's so much more natural to shoot with than awkwardly trying to hold your phone. If I could give it 6 starts, I would have…. I have some picture taken below with the iPhone pro-grip combination - I am sure I would not have got these without the pro-grip…
Overall I took over 4500 picture over a two week period, roughly split equally. In summary I took two camera’s to CostaRica, a cannon EOS with telephoto lens, and my iPhone 11 Pro. It does have a couple of design tweaks I would propose, but these are minor and maybe it is more of my handling - I don’t think it is right to discuss here, but would be happy to discuss this with ShiftCam if they are interested. The prof rib soon became an extension to my hand. I have also found holding and taking photo’s with smart phone cumbersome and often either miss the moment or just can’t be bothered. To say I was impressed is an understatement.īluetooth connection was quick, and soon it became second nature to flick the phone in my leg to change from landscape to portrait and back again. After these last two years my wife and I managed to book at holiday to Costa Rica (we live in England) and photo’s were important to us for the experience. I bought a lower cost competitive.product but it really want that good. I rarely write a review, but her goes… I saw this thought the development process, but thought the price was a little steep.
